Corked bottle from SVD, thanks! Deep golden color. Citrus, white berries and grassy hops in the aroma. Earthy grassy hopbitter flavor with somewhat faded citrusfruit and white berries. Shortish aftertaste. past best before date, so the hop character has suffered a bit. Still a good beer.

20th Aug 2019, Shrewsbury monthly share at Chez Sophie. Cheers to me for this baby! 33cl bottle: BB 14th Aug 2020. Pale straw body, big white head. Mild citrus aroma and taste, the Simcoe hops being the main player both nose and flavour wise.

20th Aug 2019, Shrewsbury monthly share at Chez Sophie. Cheers to me for this offering: 33cl bottle, BB 8th Jul 2020. Light straw coloured body, white topping. Aroma like a grain silo, tasted like a watered down grain silo and turned ugly as it warmed in the glass.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 19, thanks Jeremy for this. Pours a lightly misty pale yellow, frothy pure white head. Aroma is lightly zesty, a bit more going on here than the non-alcoholic wit, more zestiness, lemon boiled sweets, citrus. For a non-alcohol beer it’s fine, but I'd still choose a coke if I was off the pop.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie August '19. Thanks Jeremy for this 0.3% 'beer'. Pours misty milky yellow, frothy pure white head that sticks around. Aroma is a bit cat pissy, herbal, tired zest. Thin body, as expected, a little herbal, bitter but generally just lacking in all departments. If I was alcohol-free, i'd probably take a coke over this.

Can from supermarket in crete.mild aroma. Sweet and flowery. Flavor is also sweet and flowery. Slightly sawdusty, metal flavor only kicks in subtley in the end. Decebt discount booze

Can at TCrBF. This wasn't actually very bad, just extremely bland, tasteless, and watery.

75cl bottle from Carrefour, Sint-Kruis. Effectively paired with white meat (pasta with chicken). Pours hazy yellow, lasting, thin, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of yellow apple, unripe apricot, lemon zest, pineapple, white pepper, white bread, peach. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of apple & pear, faintly tropical (pineapple, peach), sourish lemon in the back, supportive (white) bready maltiness and even vague white sugar, spicy bitter notes of pepper & grass. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish, lingering yellow fruit & white bread. Medium body, slick-fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Straightforward blond Ale but not that bad, and actually a good pairing.

Thick yellow-beige head, pitting in over hazy metallic foxy-amber beer. Roasted nose, caramelised light-brown sugar (cassonade), some wood, pepper, spices, dried woodberries. Bitterish, again woody. Sugar/restsugars arrive later, but the finish has a touch of harsher mineral bitterness. Again hints at (green) herbs/spices. Medium bodied at least; hides the alcohol; bit harsh in the aftertaste. Easily the best of the Perfect Match series, as well as the most complex. Moreover, this is the first from the clutch that can stand on its own, displaying real character.
