Pours like a fresh stout, black and with a very nice head. It smells of freshly brewed coffee mixed with some caramel. The taste is the first thing that will hint at this being a black IPA - lots of cold coffee and vanilla notes, but mixed with a healthy amount of hop bitterness. The aftertaste is bitter and a bit salty, and together with the soft and watery mouthfeel, this makes for quite a drinkable brew.

Clear amber pour, with a nice velvety head that lasts. The smell is similar to a DIPA, with malty sweetness paired with citrus and piney flavours. The taste is what you’d expect from the smell, with nice bitter piney hops followed by a balancing sweetness. It has a soft texture and a very nice mouthfeel also due to the carbonation.

Piana bardzo obfita, ładna, kremowa. W aromacie głównie paloność, czekolada, w tle ziołowość, trochę cytrusów. W smaku przede wszystkim palone, nieco kwaskowate. Goryczka żywiczna na średnim poziomie. Nie czuję ani goździków ani bananów, aczkolwiek pije się dobrze. Jak dla mnie to bardziej stout niż black weizen.

Butelka 0.5l (26.02.2016). Piwo mocno zmetnione o zlocistej barwie, bialej lekko przybrudzonej, srednio pecherzykowej pianie, srednio obfitej z delikatnym lacingiem. W aromacie nuty zywicy i delikatna ziolowosc w tle. Ziolowo-zywiczna goryczka w smaku ze slodkim finiszem, srednio intensywna, w miare krotka i ciut zalegajaca, sciagajaca, lekko ostra na jezyku w miare lekka jak na angielski chmiel. Piwo z cialem ale lekkie w odczuciu, pijalne z wyraznym udzialem Enigmy choc wymieniona jest na ostatnim miejscu na kontretykiecie. Przyjemnie sie pije ale do czolowki piw od doktorow sie nie wpisuje.

Botella. @El Cabanón, Avilés 05/12/2015 Color amarillo, aromas hervales, toques rancios, sabor citrico

500ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish amber colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Wheaty, fruity and spicy aroma, notes of banana and clove, hints of baked banana, a touch of cinnamon, hoppy overtones with a touch of pear and basil. Taste is peppery spicy, obviously of yeast and hop origin, hints of pepper, clove, grass, mint, basil, widely disguised, slightly bready malty background, subtle sweetness, no survival of fruity flavours (not even banana!). Taken Schneider Hopfenweisse as benchmark, the conclusion to be drawn anew says the following: First rule is: brew a solid Weizenbock - then, not till then, hop it up. In this case the hops again more slay than upgrade the "core business".

50cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange golden colour with a mid-sized beige head. Aroma of fresh hops, coconut, toasted malt. Taste of coconuts, citrus, caramel, toasted malt, interesting!

Butelka 0.5l (15.02.2016). Piwo zmetnione o ciemno bursztynowej barwie, bialo-zoltej pianie, drobnej, dosc obfitej, ladnie oblepiajacej scianki szkla. Aromat srednio intensywny, przyprawowy z nuta pieprzowa, bardzo fajny w odbiorze, charakterystyczny dla "Belgii". Goryczka konkretna, glownie przyprawowa, ciut zalegajaca i sciagajaca, troche za ostra. Piwo tresciwe, lekko rozgrzewajace z mocna podbudowa slodowa ale mimo wyraznej przyprawowosci, nawet momentami troche ostrej piwo jest w miare przyjemne w odczuciu choc pije sie bardzo powoli. Belgia definitywnie rzadzi w tym piwie, co moze z czasem jest nieco meczace.
