Medium yellowish beige head. Hazy deep dark brown body. Light fruity caramel aroma. Dry fruity sweetish bananaish taste with licorice and pepper notes. Aftertaste is much the same. Very nice. (0.7l bottle at RBNAG’07.)

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops and Belgian yeast, as well as a touch of alcohol. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is plainly sweet malty, while the flavor is sweet malty and leaves a alcoholburn in the mouth - too simple for my liking. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 70 cl) Pours a slightly hazy, amber golden with a neat, dense, off-white head. Fantastic fresh, fruity aroma with a wee whiff of yeast. Medium-bodied, some light caramel notes, plenty of fruit and a touch of diacetyl. The finish is dry and lightly hoppy. Yet another amazingly well crafted beer from this brewer. 201007

Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma of dark dried fruits mostly, and a hint of coffee. Dry flavour with some alcohol and some toffee, and a finish dominated by the alcohol.

Dark amber red with a fine creamy lasting brown head. Roasted caramel, soft medium mouthfeel. Strong roasted coffeee bitter taste. Hops is noticeable & compliments the bitter roast well. Some light alcohol taste & warmth.. Nice!

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a fast disappering head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity with lighter notes of spices and oranges. The flavor is sweet spicy combined with notes of caramel and malt, as well as a light presence of alcohol.

75 cL bottle thanks to Myrup and Papsoe. Pours deep brown/amber with light brown head. Slight spiced and malty aroma. Burned malt flavour, slight sweetness and a distinct spiced note (Tettenang ?). This goes into the finish. Another strange american strong ale, there must be a RB admin involved here :)

Hazy dark brown color. Peppery aroma, dusty, with some caramel and very light roasted malt; cheesy too (smelly one). Good body strength, with a mix of caramel and chocolate that is not bad, but a bit dusty too and with a light herbal note that let’s imagine some fermentation problem. A bit too alcoholic at the end. Not balanced.
