Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a pinkish-red with a light pink head. Aroma of funk and raspberry. Taste is raspberry, funk, mildly tart, sweet, hints of white wine. Reminded me of a fruit-flavored wine cooler. Okay.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clearish gold with 2 fingers of foam that dissipate fairly quickly. Big bubblegum, candy sugar, pina colada nose with some light apple as it warms. No funk to be found. More of a weizen bock / generic saison hybrid. Feels heavy, overly boozy and waaaayyyyy to sweet for a saison. Typical saison swill from the states and Iβm American.

Tap at Imazato. Deep gold, hazy, with lace. Nose of peaches, grains, light citrus. Grainy flavor, lemon / grapefruit, light funk. Sweet and a bit heavy and thick. Not so impressive.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear gold with very little head that dissipates almost instantly. Light lemon and floral-forward nose with some bubblegum upon opening. Light farmhouse notes as it warms up. Medium to low carbonation. Light yogurty tartness with lemon zest and meringue towards the finish. Finish is a tad boozy, but nice tartness, without being sour. Decent.

12oz capped bottle. I have to start by saying that I am a totally slut for Nelson Sauvin hops. I mean, I hate hop heads b/c I think hops are dumb as the main vehicle for beer. Of course, I have had beers where the I loved the hops but those few and far between. But NS hops always do it for me and I rarely get to drink the,. Well, this does not disappoint. Fresh cut melon and white grape aroma makes me atwitter with delight and makes me forgot the slightly overly sweet and boring base Belgian beer. Since NS is a less assertive hop its overwhelmed in the flavor but the thicker, more biscuity mat character. The maltiness isnβt crazy over the top its just too strong for the NS hops. A very pale color with a moderate head that lasts a decent amount of time. Bottom line: I love the hop and can give or take the base beer.

Hazy, light blonde. Sweet and bland, has a touch of spice- nutmeg maybe - but really it just comes across as flat.

Slight haze. Light gold. Light piοΏ½a, mellow apple, quite sweet, and the esters come across as a bit much.
