Sample on tap at ACBF. Pours a clear, dark, brown color, with a fair, khaki head. The aroma is dates, maple, raisins, cardamom, pecans, vanilla, oak, and toffee. Sweet and yeasty, with a very faint bitterness to balance. Heavy body, with a sharp, warming mouthfeel. This is a fun, unexpected, complex, and aromatic beer. Great barrel notes, on top of a quality beer.

Tastes kinda like a sour lager, not enough flavor (pineapple), lacking mouthfeel, classic lager notes 😂.

750ml bottle from Tavour shared by my daughter. Nose is light toffee, vanilla, bourbon, and oak. Murky amber brown with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with awesomely balanced amounts of bourbon and vanilla. Very tasty.

Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a cloudy light purple with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy and tart boysenberry with a bit of light grain underlying. Flavor has dry boysenberry that is slightly tart with a bit of grain backing.
