Bottle, 7.3%. Mild caramelly aroma. Hazy copper colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is nicely caramelly and quite bitter. Has a rather high and astringent bitterness, but clean and good.

Beetje zo'n Belgische poging tot IPA brouwen. Veel te gistig, deeg-achtig, vleugje sinaasappelschil. Matig dus.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly hazy, light amber, with fine white foam, very stable. Aroma is a nice mixture of citrus, like orange peel, yeast, hop resin. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is quite bitter for a Belgian ale, of course with a good base of sweetness. Final is average.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 03/2021, lot# L1924.
Big gusher alert.

Bottle from Geers. Pours hazy amber with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of red apple, pink grapefruit peel, walnut, biscuit, pine resin, mango, kitchen herbs, pepper, paprika. Taste has sweet mango & red apple over biscuity-nutty maltiness, decently bitter grapefruit peel & pine topped with spicy notes. Earthy, resinous hoppy finish, dry & spicy with lingering dried red apple & pink grapefruit. Medium body, creamy texture, softly fizzy carbonation. Surprisingly assertive Ale from both breweries actually.
