Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a deep amber-brown color with a medium thin and creamy beige head that lasts awhile. Thin sheet of lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and lightly spiced hops. Light, smooth body with roasted malt and nut flavors along with some hops. The finish is smooth and mild with malt and hops in equal parts, as s well as a touch of fruit in the aftertaste. Drinkable, and pretty tasty to boot.

On draught at the brewpub. This beer is a nearly opaque dark brown color with ruby on the fringes. Thin and creamy off-white head that dissipates quickly, and spotty lacing. Aroma of coffee, oatmeal and roasted malt. Medium, smooth body with coffee, roasted barley and malt flavors. The finish is nutty with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a pale yellow-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and lightly floral hops. Medium-bodied with a borderlne cloying sweetness. Lots of malt and caramel flavor with a lesser degree of citrus hops to balance. Bottle at the Laid Back Brussels Tasting (Feb 9, 2008)
Clear, amber body with an off-white, creamy head. Good lace. ARoma of hops and caramel. Very nice, well balanced and a nice complexity. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour with cinnamon and cumin. Quite nice beer, with an ok complexity and balance.

Bottle. Too much spice and too many flavors that just donβt gel. Medium amber body. Small, off-white head. Strong aroma of clove and sweet banana with other notes of cookies and grain. The flavor is moderately sweet. Very little bitterness. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Moderate carbonation. Not my favorite from Saint Lewis Brewery.
