Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate hoppy, flowers, light grass - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. 16.9 oz. bottle purchased @ Bier Cellar, Portland, ME for $4.39. Foamy white head laced the lager glass real well. Nose is sweet grain and a light Euro hops aroma. Bread yeast leads off the flavors with yeast and a light grassy hop in the finish. Lots of pale malt balanced nice with a solid lingering bitterness. Medium body with a texture that is mostly drying. It’s ok.

Bottle @ Monk’s Sveavägen. Dark brown colour with a small head. Aroma of dark fruit, malt, sugar. Flavour is sweet, fruit, alcohol.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Reddish brown colour with lasting, frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread, caramel and roasted nuts. Malty taste with chocolate, dark bread, caramel, nuts and a mild bitterness. More than medium bitterness, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Aged in DuPont Calvados barrels. Hazy red brown beer. Small off white head. Malty nose with a trace of apple. Softish semi dry palate. Sweetish malt tempered by a little aniseed. Trace of wood leads to sweet toffee and a little tangy apple. Nicely joined up. Tasty but not shouty.

500 ml bottle purchased at Nature’s Way Market for $4.49. Lager glass shows a nice looking clear amber color with real thin head. Light retention. Nose is grain, caramel malt and hay. The taste and aromas follow each other and is nice. Caramel malts with bread flavor are the backbone of this brew. The backend of the sip you pick up a lightly spicy hop and lager yeast. Mouthfeel is Medium. Finish is clean and crisp with some lingering bready sweetness. If I ever see this on draft, I would order it. A refreshing drink.
