Draft. Pours a dark orange-brown color with a near-tan head. Aroma is malts, with touches of dark fruits. Flavor has touches of caramel, touches of pine hops, decent winter beer, not too much of a alcohol hit, but just enough to warm up.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Wine and Beer Westpark, 12/13/09
Aroma: Nose has some roasted and burnt malts, smoke, fruits, burnt toast
Appearance: Pours a very dark reddish-brown color with a fizzy tan head
Flavor: Tastes of semi-sweet malts, smoke, burnt toast, and a light hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a somewhat short duration, and a slightly dry mouthfeel
Overall Impression: I can't believe I've never rated anything from Blue Mountain, I know I've had their beers before, not this one, but others, but somehow I haven't rated any of them on here. Anyway, I didn't love this beer, but I liked it. It certainly could have been better though. I'd like to see them put a little more effort into this one, because I think it has potential.
**Just submitted a Photo for this one as well, as it was missing one.

Supposedly this is done in the style of Duvel, so I guess I’ll use a Duvel glass. Growler from the brewery filled about 45 minutes ago. Pours a hazy orange-tinted lemon yellow color with a large white frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of doughy bread, yeast, peach, lime and other citrus, and caramel. Taste is also very bready with an almost nutty vibe. Some citrus, plum and berries with strong bitter hop notes. Strongly carbonated. Medium bodied.

Served on nitro tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear ruby-brown color with a typical tan nitro head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is chocolate, lightly roasted malts and coffee. The pumpkin notes are very faint, and as this is a chocolatey beer anyways it doesn’t add too much of an extra dimension. The taste is milk chocolate, bitter, banana and pumpkin with a bitter leafy hop finish. Smooth, medium bodied. A nice effort but this could use more of the pumpkin flavor.
