600ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light corn, light malt. Taste is light sucrose, not much else.

65cl Bottle from a toko at Kinkerstraat. Just slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of a hint of caramel, some toast, light malty, some spirit. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, tiny hint of lemon, toast, some caramel, very light-bitter finish. Light bodied. Guess it’s a fine beer for a tropical climate.

Bottle from Lambert’s, Bedford. Lagers yellow, maybe a bit deeper than others of its ilk. Aroma isn’t bad: citrus, grass, a bit of spice. Taste is foul. Euch. Sick and chemicals. But... hold on... it rounds up into an almost pleasant sweetness. All in all, I’ve had worse. The disgusting initial flavour fades quite quickly to the point where I stop noticing it. So not a drain pour but I’m glad I’m sharing it. I won’t be in a hurry to try another.

Dark brown color. The aroma is quite fresh, with some dark caramel. The body is thin; some dark caramel flavor, some yeast, and remarkable low bitterness; light roasted nuts in the final.

Black color. Sweetish aroma, caramel, lightly fruity. Roasted malt flavor, nice chocolate presence, hint of coffee; the bitterness is a bit low.
Pleasant.
