De oudere generatie heeft Brouwerij Eylenbosch Huizingen nog gekend.
Mijn familie evolueerde van een seizoensgebonden boerderij-brouwerij uit tot twee geburende ambachten. In de "Teloorgang van de Geuze" is ook deze brouwerij bezweken. Desondanks is het brouwersvuur nog niet gedoofd en rijpen we sinds 1965 terug lambiek op de boerderij.
Mijn ambitie is om het boeren en brouwen weer te versmelten. Zo kan ons streekproduct eindelijk weer gemaakt worden met grondstoffen uit onze streek.

Tap at Brasserie Arnage, Cesena, Italy. Pours orange amber, with a nice head of white foam, quickly fading. Aroma has a nice funkiness. Body and carbonation are average. Some astringency. Taste is medium sour, with good astringency in the final.

Tap at Brasserie Arnage, Cesena, Italy. Pours partially hazy, dark blonde, with very fine white foam. Aroma is funky, even a little acetic. Body is average, with moderate carbonation and marked astringency. Taste is medium-high sour. Final is fairly long.

Tap at Brasserie Arnage, Cesena, Italy. Pours dark blonde, partially transparent, with no foam. Aroma is delicate, a little funky and fruity. Body is average, with no carbonation. Taste is very moderately sweet, with delicate acidity as well. Final is average in intensity and length, earthy.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Clear red color, odd, no head. Smell and taste are very pleasant balanced red fruit with barnyard influences. I like this one.

From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Nicely dry Cider with funky notes, wood, apple skins, tannins. Dry sourish flavour.

Bottle pour @ Biere a Lille. Misty yellow appearance, small white head. Aroma presents a prominent barrel influence, running deep into the flavour profile with an encompassing gueuze profile. Delightful.

Bottle, vintage 2023. Pours hazy red, with a big creamy off white head. Aroma is lactic acid tart fruity notes of raspberries, grapes, currants, farmhouse notes and fruity brett, as well as tannins and wooden barrels. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is lactic acid with tart fruit peel, raspberries, shrubbery, currants and musty grapes, as well as tannins and wooden barrels.

On tap at BeerGeek Bar, pours a cloudy dull orange, almost no head. Aroma is full of musty plums, gentle funk, and leathery notes. Flavour is moderately juicy, with plenty of plums, medium acidity, and subtle funk. Not the most complex but nice incorporation of the apricot. Good stuff.
