De oudere generatie heeft Brouwerij Eylenbosch Huizingen nog gekend.
Mijn familie evolueerde van een seizoensgebonden boerderij-brouwerij uit tot twee geburende ambachten. In de "Teloorgang van de Geuze" is ook deze brouwerij bezweken. Desondanks is het brouwersvuur nog niet gedoofd en rijpen we sinds 1965 terug lambiek op de boerderij.
Mijn ambitie is om het boeren en brouwen weer te versmelten. Zo kan ons streekproduct eindelijk weer gemaakt worden met grondstoffen uit onze streek.

Tap at BGB with Gurthnar, 2023 version. Shiny red body, some off-white head. Sharp sourish, bit acetic and funky cherry, berry aroma. Lean, dry sour cherry juice with brett in the taste, spicy wine-like notes, low funk, relatively well hidden alcohol. Good!

Draught @ The Jolly Fisherman, Hastings. Misty gold pour, loose bubbles atop. Vibrant gueuze nose, some green apple, floral notes. Excellent gueuze profile.. crisp with bright effervescence.. really nicely presented

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy pale amber, small head. Funky horseblanket aroma. Tart with light to medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Spritzy and citric with horseblanket and barnyard. Mid bitter finish.

Sampled from bottle [2025] at "Hooghe Noorden Tasting 2025". Red to purple color, small off-white head. Smell and taste sourish, red fruit, tart, tart bitter. Alright but not a great match with spicy chicken.

Simply fantastic. So much greatness packed into every sip. Named after the year their barn was born, and a tribute to the owl who lives there, looking after their bottles.

Sampled at Billies, day 2. [As Gris Sur Senne Reserva 2024] Clear pale golden color, no head. Aroma and flavor are balanced sour fruit sour but bery soft and smooth almost sweetish. Very pleasant. 9-8-9-9-8,5

Shared bottle @ Brygghuset. Almost clear red body under a short living, foamy pink head. Aroma is mostly cherry and acid with a mild funky touch. Taste is sour and tart cherry, mild funk, wood and a very vague hint of Bourbon/vanilla. Interesting to taste the integration between almond from cherry and vanilla. It’s a slightly unusually version of a Kriek and it works out well. Balanced body with a tart cherry aftertaste.
