Tap at Braustil in Frankfurt. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma isn’t too good, some caramel and hop evident but also cabbage. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, average carbonation. Finish keeps with the cabbage and is a bit rough. Drinkable but my least favourite of the 4 on offer.

Tap at Braustil in Frankfurt. A one off special brew I was told - once it’s gone it’s gone... Pours a hazy golden brown with an off white head, leaving good lacing. Aroma of strawberry, raspberry, banana, caramel and hop. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, just a touch of fruity sour. Medium body, light sticky texture, soft carbonation. Finish is a fruity/caramel combination. Very very good.

On tap at Braustil in Frankfurt. Pours a slightly hazy chestnut brown with a lasting cream colour head. Aroma is lovely mix of toffee, malt, and chocolate with a touch of sour fruit. Medium sweetness and roasted bitterness. Medium body, texture a little oily, moderate carbonation. Finish is roasted, nutty, sweet caramel, slightly gassy. Enjoyed this.

Tap at the Brauhaus in Frankfurt. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, hop, zest and yeast. Light to moderate sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour. Quite light body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Finish is sweeter and slightly syrupy. Wasn’t too impressed on first taste but was a grower.

Trocken hefig bitterer Beginn, mild hopfig. Milde, noch sinkende Würzigkeit, ab dem Mittelteil ist die Bitterkeit deutlich das führende Aroma, zum Ende ist gar keine Hefigkeit mehr vorhanden. 10/8/7/6//7

[backlog] 01-04-16 / sample at Craft!-Frankfurt. Brown with beige head. Sweet malt base, with a nice bitterness along. Coffee notes, some chocolate. Good. Bottle 330ml. w. swing top. [ As Braustil Red Ale ].[ Courtesy of Beerhunter111 ]. Unclear matt medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart, sour, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, sweet malt, sour malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150925]

Dunkler, weich röstiger Antrunk. Milde Noten des Honigs ohne wirkliche Süße, wenig herb. Deutlich malzig bleibend, etwas Karamell, Röstigkeit und Honig passen perfekt zusammen. Langer, süßlich hopfig röstiger Nachhall mit holzigen Noten. 12/11/10/10//11

[9/25/15] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Murky orange. Aroma of malt, peanut butter, caramel, vegetal notes. Sweetish flavor with malt, vegetables, bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.
