Description

100ml at the brewery, pours a clear gold with some lacing, white head. Mild nose, honey, flowers, light grist. Flavor is better, sweet honey and malts, orange marmalade, grist, lemon butter. Finishes bitter, dry. Very drinkable.

Hazier than the base, spitty white head. Nose has lime, sugary here, like rock candy, not much else. Flavor is limeade, very sweet, lemon-lime soda, some more rock candy. Finishes sweet with a clear lime kick.

10cl at the brewery, pours a translucent orange with some sticky, white head. Nose has some orange, malt, marmalade, black tea. Flavor is standard pale ale: malt, black tea and orange, some honey, some dried apple slices. Finishes dry, lightly bitter.

10cl sample pours a translucent garnet amber with some sticky, off white head. Nose is OK, fall fruits, yeast, some grainy oatmeal, raisin too. Flavors are sweeter than I'd imagine, raisins, toffee, a little bubblegum, some date and fruit cake. Finishes off dry with a roasty bittermess that was missed elsewhere. Way more of an amber ale than anything else.

10cl sample at the brewery that poured a caramel brown with about 25ml of frothy tan head. Coffee there in the nose but its not a heavy roast, fragrant and reminiscent of berries, the malt is there too, brown bread, over baked coffee cake. Flavor is a touch more simple, the coffee is acidic here, still some berry but more raspberry leaf tea, some cherry and apple chews too. Finishes tannic. A bit all over.
