7.5 oz. can, pours a clear blonde with a large white head. Aroma has bright grassy hops, some biscuity malt, and straw. Flavour is very herbaceous, with lots of grassy hops, herbaceous notes, and biscuity malt. Fairly grassy and punchy in the hop department. Good stuff.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dark pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out a wonderful mix of ginger, bitter orange peel, fermented out and yet still juicy boysenberries, and funky saison yeast. Flavour is bright and yet dry and buttery with tons of bitter orange peel, ginger, a touch of rosemary, and juicy boysenberries, with a wonderful funk. The odd elements work beautifully together. Excellent.

Canned 7/30/25, drunk 7/6/26.
Very, very aromatic for its size and seemingly the one year in the can has not impeded the aroma. Still a ton of spicy gale, as well with big mineral and soft funk. Guessing the age has rounded this nicely, as there's no intense acidity that may have been present when young. It's spice-forward, but the yeast behind it shows no sign of crudeness (no clove/banana/bub gum).
Rich and malty, impressively-so for its size, with honey and white bread matching the spicy yeast and adjunct. But it comes out balanced and flavorful with no excessive acidity; nowhere close to any astringency. Soft funk and excellent Sacch. character persisting on the finish. A real treat! Wish I had a big bottle of it.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, some floral dry-hopping, and a touch of oak. Flavour is vibrant, with bright Chardonnay barrels, bitter floral dry hopping, oak, and rustic saison yeast. Bitter, oaky, and vinous. Excellent.

Bottle.
A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head.
A- Forest floor, mild yeast, oak, subtle funk.
F- Smoke, overripe pears, dusty, rustic yeast.
T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, earthy finish.
O- Smoked pears, what a fun adjunct. This was right up my alley. Reminds me of beers I had when I visited Scratch, very rustic. This was the perfect beer for a cool damp late night patio summer beer. The smoke is very much present but so are the pears. Unique.
