16 oz. can, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma reveals fresh doughy malt, straw, and bright grassiness. Flavour has some unfermented wort, doughy notes, dried straw, and a touch of grass. Not sure I would’ve picked up the fresh hops. It’s a clean lager other than the aforementioned wort character. Decent.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a clear dark burgundy with a small off-white head. Aroma has a nice red wine grape skin character, soft mustiness, and a hint of rustic character. Flavour has a nice red wine tannin character, gentle oak, rustic saison yeast, and a touch of wild character. Tannic, musty, and oaky finish. The menu says 3%, but the entry on UT says 7.8% -- regardless, this packs a surprising amount of depth. Real good.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a clear pale pinkish copper with a small white head. Aroma is very laid-back, with soft wine barrel, rustic notes, and a touch of cherries. Flavour is very laid-back, with a touch of soft cherry skins, gentle vinous character, and rustic notes. Too much second-use character for there to be much to love here but it’s fairly well-done what it is.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Nose screams out with huge watermelon, followed by intense cucumber, rustic notes, and some mint. Flavour is likewise intense, with intense cucumber and mint upfront, followed by dry watermelon and rustic saison yeast. Highly carbonated and bone dry in a way that works very well. Odd experiment that works really well.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a wonderful wild yeast character, with musty grape skins, light champagne effervescence. Flavour is dry and musty, with a nice funky wild yeast character, musty grape skins, and light earthiness. Musty, vinous, dry finish. Smells better than it tastes but it’s still well-executed.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a lightly hazed blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has a nice smoky character, light cherry, and some rustic saison yeast. Flavour is clean and complex, with a nice smokiness, rustic saison yeast, and some bugginess. Grainy, nicely carb’d, with great smoke and yeast expression. Excellent.
