500ml can kindly shared by djoeye. Chalk white lager head. Crystal clear golden body. Poor lace. Modest smell of mid-sweet grain, grassy hints. Moderate taste of wet grass mixed with pale malts. Sweet malt-fruity ending, short-lived. Soft in the mouth and medium bodied. Alright (Tromsø 30.01.2014).

Can from somewhere in the North. Sweet tasting light golden ale, no head. It’s nowhere near as strong tasting as its alcohol percentage suggest it should be, in fact it just tastes like ordinary low-grade Polish lager.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with notes of hops. Rough aftertaste. OK but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with notes of skunk. Sweetish. Malty and estery flavour, with notes of hops. Bitter aftertaste. Not bad for a Pale Lager.

500ml can (nice golden design with some old boys from the brewery featured) poured into two half-pint tankards on Christmas Eve 2013 (my son had the other half-pint). Typical golden lager looks, with the usual white head that refuses to stay. The nose is both grainy and semi-sweet malty wise: gets my regular 3 for a lager/pilsner aroma. Crisp, refreshing and thirst quenching but without too much flavour or character: doesn’t seem to be a 6% ABV brew, hides that well, even if it fails to inspire in the flavour stakes. Mr Bog Standard European Lager/Pilsner, with just a little extra something to make it more than OK!

50cl can picked up in a Polski Shlep in Wokingham. A bright straw colour with a billowing white head; sweet grainy aroma; grainy taste with a touch of citrus; and a clean finish. Very inoffensive, in a nice way.

Pours golden with nice big white head. The head stays for a long time. Aroma of metallic Euro Pale Lager hops and honey. Taste: very sweet and metallic. Finish has some faint hints of hops. Lively carbonation. Overall: it tastes like euro pale lager/mead, but all the tastes seem artificial. Not really good.

500 ml. can @ home. Picked up from Anna Maria in Antwerp. BBF 05/04/2014. Ooh, looks like this one is a premium and not a pale lager, classy. Pours a crystal-clear honey amber, white head that almost instantly vanishes. Smells of sweet starch, quite a bit of sweet apples, faint hay. Taste is sweet starch, light apples, light grains, hay, sweetish, touch white sugar, faint minerals in the back. Body has a starch quality to it, light, spritzy carb. Not stellar but better than most pale lager & more or less drinkable.

50cl can from my local Londis. Straw with a thin white head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste; with a dry grassy bitterness, and a slightly metallic aftertaste. A fairly standard Polish import.

500 ml. can @ home. Procured from Anna Maria in Antwerp. BBF 23/01/2014. Ah, another Pale Lager from Poland, my 10th! (I checked). He Polish Pale lagers were some of the first beers I ticked, this is a total nostalgia tick for me, they were not that good back then as well :) Crystal-clear pale apple golden with a frothy & soapy collapsing head. Grainy nose, slightly sweet, faint candy, sugary & bready, light smell & actually okay. Taste is sweet grains, light candy, soap, slightly boozy, corn cookies, odd soap, cleaning agents + grain alcohol (manageable level) aftertaste. High carb. Body feels too oddly thick for me esp. for the style. The cleaning agents & soap flavours are too dominant for me but for the style this is actually okay.
