Mein letztes Bier aus einer Bestellung vom biermarket.de, das 2019 gebraut wurde und eigentlich noch bis 2029 gehalten hätte. Das Etikett mit dem 60er-Jahre--Raumfahrer auf dem fremden Planeten gefällt mir schon einmal ganz gut, aber frisch aus dem Kühlschrank dachte ich nur: Mein Gott, ist das grauslich!. Nachdem es aber etwas wärmer wure, entfalteten sich die Aromen -und derer gibt es einge und diese sind wahlrich interessant. Auf der einen Seite hat man die fruchtigen Noten nach Rosinen und anderen Trockenfrüchten und auf der anderen Seite kommen die trockenen Dunkelschoko- und Kakaonoten. Das ist schön durch die Kaffeenoten verknüpft, was ein brauchbares Gesamtbild ergeben. Ein sehr schwieriges Getränk, das aber auch deutlich holzige Rumfassnoten hat, die man mögen muss. Aufgrund der Komplexität wird es nicht viele Freune finden, aber dem einen oder anderen Aromenliebhaber, dem das holzige nicht stört, wid seine Freude damit haben.

Mild and smooth beginning. Slightly grainy, floral herbs. Very soft, hints of grain. The herbs are very soft and subtle, aromatic with a malty fruity back. Nice and deep caramelly herbal with hints of bitterness in the back.

Eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, fruchtig mit reifer Banane, etwas Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

EIn Weizenbier, das sich durch seine Fruchtigkeit auszeichnet, aber sonst irgendwie flach wirkt. Erst mal zum positivem: Es hat tolle Aromen nach Birne, Erdbeere und natürlich Banane und Papaya und das ist auch noch schön ausbalanciert. Leider lässt dieser Geschmackseindruck schnell nach und es übernimmt zum Abgang hin ein flaches, leicht pilziges Aroma. Das Bier ist nicht schlecht, aber da kenne ich bessere.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, redd-ish, brown-golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Vinous fruity, minimally herbal and yeasty spicy aroma, hints of grape juice, hibiscus, dusty yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, tart-ish, fruity, minimally yeasty spicy and herbal, notes of hibiscus, hints of grape juice, fruit acid; dry, herbal-fruity finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nothing wrong with it, simply doesn't meet my proclivities.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Floral and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, pale malty background, notes of petals, whiffs of chamomile, some grapefruit, lemon, orange peel. Taste is dry and bitter, piney, citrusy, slightly grassy and minimally floral hoppy, slightly biscuity, pale malty with little residual sweetness, notes of grapefruit, some lemon, orange peel, a resinous and woody touch. Slightly oily, watery texture, dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, pretty dry - really nice!
