AROMA: initial medium-low metallic note, followed by medium-low to low malt background with slightly sweetness and hints of bread crust. APPEARANCE: amber color and cristal clear. medium ivory head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-low metallic presence, followed by a slightly sweet malt flavour, medium-low to low, with notes of bread crust. medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an average-low marzen with a distracting metallic note.

Bottle. Darkest brown, dark brown creamy head. Dust, ash, wood, salty roast. Medium body, dry salty, iodine, wood, umami, dry chocolate, cigar ash. Salty dry stout finish. Rum notes retronasal. Actually strangely quite refreshing and enjoyable.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is mild ash, some soy sauce, earthy. Taste is rum, dry wood, umami, quite dry finish, some iodine. Velvety mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really quite drinkable, just almost too boring for the style.

Als „Kleines Helles“ - optisch dunkles Gold, feiner Schaum. Schöne behäbige Perlung. In der Nase Malz, Getreide. Im Trunk malzig, sehr malzig, leicht bitter, bisschen plädderich. Würde ich geografisch eher im Pott verorten. Weit weg von einem bayerischen Hellen, auch qualitativ.

Bottle recieved with Euro Swap 01-2022, many thanks to Rhoihessegold! The beer has got a hazy orange color with a steady white head. The aroma is sweet and fruity. The taste is fruity, spicy and bitter. Very nice!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, BA supported aroma, notes of rum, hints of dark chocolate, some liquorice. Taste is roasty, spicy, dark malty, notes of liquorice, some rum, a touch of molasses, nutty undertones, a dry, woody touch as well; slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine and soft carbonation. A bit unbalanced, disharmonious, edgy, not overly complex - quite far behind in this sophisticated, outbid style.
