Tap (Valletta, 67 Kapitali). Hazy, light-amber colour with delicate, ecru colour head, nice lacing. Malty, caramel with herbal, medium bitterness. Light to medium body, drinkable. Classic english IPA.

Tap (67 Kapitali, Valletta). Hazy golden-citrus colour. Classic wheat beer, refreshing with delicate sour in aftertaste. Great beer from Gozo brewery.

330ml bottle @ GBBF ’17. Pours a hazy golden amber, small white head. Aroma is lightly aromatic. Taste is fairly dry, lightly salty with a low souring presence from the soured barley malt, some faint citrus and wheat notes. I appreciate their approach in trying a different take to a standard gose, but not entirely sure it works.

Bottle at Black Sheep. Opaque dark brown with a beige foam. Dry chocolate with light roast, caramel and hint of iron. Once again balanced, light and clean but not memorable.

Tap at black sheep. Clear golden with a nice, white foam. Grassy aroma with some citrus and floral perfume. Mellow hoppy, grassy taste with a bit of citrus and lingering zesty grassy finish. No flaws, but mellow.

Bottle at 67 kapitali. Pours hazy golden with a white foam. Mellow tart lemon aroma with wheat,grass and a bit of salt. Taste is mostly wheaty with koriander, salt and a lightly tart citrus finish. Light and enjoyable but nothing standing out really.
