Bottle at Jack of all Trades, Sliema, Malta. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head with lots of bubbles. The aroma is citrus wheat banana. The flavour is acid citrus with a zesty mineral earthy palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. A lively, slightly floral witbier. Refreshing and drinkable. I’m not a fan of the style but I would drink this in preference to just about anything else brewed locally.

Bottle from Jack of all Trades, Sliema, Malta. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is bretty yeast, zesty citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a wood, resin hop, citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A crisp, clean refreshing palate. Very drinkable and worth the money, but I wonder how many locals will think its worth 3 times the price of a Cisk?

Bottle at Jack of all Trades, Sliema, Malta. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a resin nettle hop, light citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This by far the best locally brewed beer I have tasted and it compares favourably with some of the better beers in Europe. If this one of their first beers they have done pretty well. Keep up the good work guys.

Bottle from All 4U, St Julian’s. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is wheat, dough, straw, grain and mild spice. The taste is crisp, doughy, lemon peel, wheat, sherbet, lime, straw and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Good example of the style. This new brewery go 3 for 3, nice work!

Bottle from All 4U, St Julian’s. A Maltese APA!!!! It pours lightly hazy golden-amber with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, juicy citrus, orange sherbet, candied peel and orange blossom. The taste is clean, crisp, bitter, grapefruit, orange peel, sherbet, straw and some florals with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Clean and nice use of US hops. Very drinkable and easily the best Maltese beer I have had.
