Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, nutty, caramel, light coffee - dusty coffee. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, sweet malt, malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151121]

Amber color, hazy, small head. At first the aroma shows some resiny hops, not persistent though; dry mouthfeel, the caramel flavor is a bit too much, and combined with a light vegetable feeling in the final it’s quite boring to say the least. Hints of bitter orange too.

On tap @ Artigiano in Fiera 2015, Milano. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. La schiuma di abbondante carbonazione a bollicine fini si produce in una morbida allacciatura sul vetro. Sotto la frizzantezza è prodotta da bollicine fini con carbonazione vivace, continuata e permanente. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L’amaro è medio, con leggera presenza di umami. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il finale è felpato, pulito, dissetante e complesso. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. I sentori in bocca fanno pensare a pane e cereali.

On tap @ Artigiano in Fiera 2015, Milano. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata ed elegante. La persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il cappello di schiuma a bollicine fini ha per conseguenza che il bicchiere si contorna di una schiuma dal pizzo attraente. Al piano di sotto la frizzantezza a bollicine fini è di carbonazione bassa, ma prosegue con tono persistente ed insistito. L’aspetto è limpido. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile, bilanciato tra un dolce medio ed un amaro medio. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso.

On tap @ Artigiano in Fiera 2015, Milano. Il gusto al naso ricorda caffè e marron glacé. L’intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma a bollicine fini presenta merletti sul bordo del vetro. La sottostante frizzantezza è formata da bollicine fini a carbonazione vivace, persistente ed insistita. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile. L’amaro è medio. L’intensità gustativa è elevata. e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Il finale è lungo, pulito e dissetante. Il retrogusto è intenso. L’aroma in bocca richiama alla memoria pane, caffè, frutta secca, pane tostato, alcol presente non invadente.
