Sampled from that lovely plastic bottle doing the rounds at Borefts 2013. It looks grim enough in the bottle and should certainly never have been poured out to reveal the most horrible thick yellow milky slimy liquid I’ve seen. The aroma was more nutty upfront than the banana surprisingly, and not actually as bad as expected. The Flavour is awful, but not that awful. A pleasant surprise when you’re expecting the worst but the result is merely bad. Anyway, interesting to try and will certainly be one of the things I remember about BBF13!

Pet bottle or two, kindly shared at Borefts, 2013. Awful pinkish-brown cloudy appearance, flat, with a tangy banana and peanut nose, apricot. Creamy sweet-and-sour flavor, yogurt, peanuts, very salty, banana candy. Weird yet fascinating and although 100% un-beer-like I kinda like it.

Bottle courtesy of my friend Tim who picked this up on a trip back home to Rwanda & Uganda, cheers Tim this was consumed and shared with many at Borefts, Friday 27th September 2013 Pours a peachy murky colour. Nose is vinegary in fact the nose is shaping up to be the best part of this. If you got a banana dipped it in yoghurt then sprinkled a little sarsons vinegar on it before rolling it across your dustiest most cobweb strewn piece of furniture then this is what you have. Tastes fruity and with a warmth that perserveres, I’m afraid to drink too much of this as I fear the Leon Trotskies, it isn’t quite the shocker I was expecting but that is damning it with faint praise. Plastic bottle shared with half the attendees at Borefts 2013! The aroma is sour and fruity. The flavour is medium sweet and sour with a fruity nut palate. Not my style I’m afraid and at 12% I won’t be drinking it in pints!

Sampled from plastic bottle, shared by Fin. Thanks! Murky pale orange peachy color, no head. Smell sourness and banana. Tastes like buffalo pee mixed with feet and spit. A little sweetish with sour fruits and bananapeel. Never again. Damn..

First ratingPlastic bottle of 65 cl, on May 16, 2009.Brewed 30 JAN 2009, BB 08 JAN 2010Cloudy/murky brown color, no head. Acidic, sour scent, yeast, smoke, wood. Very sweet taste, wood, metallic. Long metallic aftertaste. Sticky sickening sweet mouthfeel. Low harsh bitterness, like not ripe bananas.2/1/2/2/3=1.0RerateSample bottle thanks to Nisse666, shared on August 17, 2016.Muddy, murky brown color, pretty much no head, looks strange and disgusting. Vinous, alcohol, kolaremmar, artifical, strange sake scent, also smoke, wierdly intriguing still. Very sweet, alcohol, vinous taste, not as horrible as last time, some figs, plums, raisin as well. Raisin, alcohol, glögg, nuts (hazel) aftertaste, also smoke. Medium smooth low CO2 mouthfeel, medium high plant like bitterness.2/1/2/2/3=1.0
