Kalea-Bieradventkalender Deutschland-Version 5.12.2024 Die Stadt und Brauerei Einbeck ist primär aufgrund ihrer Geschichte 📚 bekannt. Dass soweit im Norden Weizenbier gebraut wird, war mir neu. Es ist ein schwerer Bock 🐐 mit einem vollen Körper und herben Weizennoten. Es geben fruchtig-malzige Töne den Geschmack vor, aber auch der Alkohol 👊 haut auch noch ordentlich rein. Aromentechnisch komplex und sehr cool 😎, aber mir etwas zu brutal.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a stein. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Grass and biscuit aromas. Crisp with lemon and sourdough upfront turning to earthy bark and pith in the dry, lasting finish. Quite a step up from the filtered version.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before June 2025. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy and a little fruity-floral aroma of grains, some straw and light lemon peel. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, moderately grassy and minimally fruity-floral taste of grains, some straw and traces of lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent lager, quite monotonous but quite crisp.

On tap at The Beer Temple, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has grassy hops, straws, and biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, with grassy hops, biscuity malt, and straw. Clean, nicely hopped and balanced. Eminently drinkable, classic German pils.

Pours clear gold into a stein. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Multigrain and corn aromas. Crisp with sour corn mash, candy corn and aged leather.

Clear bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear reddish copper with a small, off-white head. Malty nose paired with discreet orange accents. Medium-bodied, again quite some feel of beer paired with fresh orange notes, a hint of pink grape perhaps. Not overly sweet. An excellent Radler. 231124

Amber, clear with a small white head. Aroma of hops, malt, caramel and slightly smoke senses. Light bittersweet with a malt and caramel ending.
