(Sampled bottle). Reddish brown colour, bread yeast and just a hint of coffee in the aroma. Flavour leaves you with the impression of drinking this beer in a bakery (this is not necessarily an insult to the beer - it''s probably an OK accompaniment with a few sandwiches or even Danish pastry). Drier than I expected. Not as good as the Einbecker Ur-Bock Dunkel (and not nearly as good as Aass Bock, which I enjoyed 1 hour earlier) - a bit watery, but still a drinkable dunkel that won''t offend anyone.

(Bottle). Better than the Ur-Bock hell. Low head. Malty / toffee aroma. Strong alcohol presence, fairly well balanced with the malts and hops. Slightly nutty. Decent bock, not outstanding.

(Sampled bottle) I guess I expected too much of this one - so I were a bit disappointed. Low head, decent aroma. More hops than malts (sure, the malts are there too), bitter near tart. Strong alcohol presence. Competes easily with a good Scandinavian \"Gold\" beer, but not by much. I'm probably a \"Bocks are dark\"-guy.

(Sampled bottle):
Lovely hoppy aroma (Saazer and Hallertau?), moderate head, distinct bitterness but not unpleasant (and I'm not a hardcore hophead), very refeshing. I'm sure it's even better on tap. A decent pils!

Bottle. Light phenolic sweet corn aroma. Full golden color and a nice white head. Medium to light body, slightly ticky mouthfeel. Starts on the sweet side, but is balanced to boredom. Quick finish fairly forgettable - what have they done to this beer?

Beautifull red, but bad head retention. Toasted malt aroma and with a little bite in the (after)taste, quite similar to the Flensburger Dunkel, maybe a tad fuller.

Dark brown with small head. Somewhat roasty aroma. Smoothly roasted, somewhat dry flavour. Somewhat bitter finish. You get the impression that it would be stronger than it really is.

Nutbrown colour, firm head. Malty aroma with some alcohol fumes. Full bodied. Liquorice and black currant-flavour. Sweet & warming. The alcohol gives it a bitter finish. A very drinkable bock.

Bronze-coloured, big bitterness, some coriander-flavour and a warming alcohol-sweetness. Not bad.
