Bottle from Aberlour Deli. It pours clear golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, estery, pear drops, melon, oily citrus, perfumed, floral and marshmallow. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, soapy citrus, rich tea biscuit malt base, estery, some pear drops, melon, floral vibes and pepper spice with a drying finish. Average carbonation and foamy carbonation. A bit muddled to be honest. Not sure if that estery, pear drops needs to be there. OK.

50cl Bottle from the brewery. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of some grain, light elderflower, light citrus. Flavour is light grainy, elderflower, light earthy, bitter finish. Light bodied. Not really what I hoped for.

50cl Bottle from the brewery. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of some roast, chocolate, cocoa. Flavour of coffee and cream, chocolate, cocoa, mild roast, nutty, bitter finish. Light bodied. Decent, but much preferred their Loch Ness stout.

Cask at the brewery. Could be an alias of Loch Ness Hoppy Ness. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of floral and soft citrusy hops, light malty, peach. Flavour is nice and hoppy, soft, malty, peach, citrus, lemon peel, floral bitter finish. Light bodied, smooth. Good.

0.5l bottle thanks to Lore. Clear bronze body with a white head. Aroma of toffee, roasted malts, nuts and toast. Taste of caramel, orange peel, roasted malts, raisins, toast and a bit of spicy hops. It also has some sourness to it too. Nice one.

Clear chestnut colpur, moderate sized creamy beige-ish off-white head which lasts for several minutes, aroma pf dried plum or plum jam, some raisins, toffee, rye bread and maybe nuts; taste of heavy roasted, almost burnt rye bread, dried plum, raisins, biscuits and over-roasted sunflower seeds; surprisingly enjoyable - based on its label I thought that it is just another riding the wave of nessie
