Bottle, thanks to jcartamg! Shared at the Homer "welcome to California" tasting. Pour is opaque black, small tan head, dissipates quickly with decent lacing. Aroma is bourbon, cocoa, roasted malts, coffee, coconut. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, bourbon and chocolate, light toasted coconut and vanilla. Light astringence from time in wood. Medium light body, a bit hot on the finish. Nice.

Bottle at weekday tasting. Pours black with brown head. Nose/taste of bourbon, chocolate cake, toasted coconut, rye and dark chocolate. Some vanilla. Medium -full body.

Bottle at Nick’s tasting. Pours black with brown head. Nose/taste of whiskey, oak, roast chocolate, toasted coconut and chocolate cake. Light alcohol/whiskey finish, but no real burn. Full bodied.

Thanks Bobochamp! Black colour, almost no foam, syrupy texture. Roasted aroma of vanilla, chocolate and coconut. Some bourbon sweetness but not overwhelming.

Thnx ! to Bobochamp ! Pours black , smells sweet, oak , bourbon . Low carbo Full, sweet , bourbon , roasted malts . Very complex yet very balanced , with a full body . This is how it should be done boys !

Pours slightly hazy dark amber with small off-white head. Faint aroma of yeast and fruit, with hefty touches of diacethylene. Sour flavour of rotten malt, beautifully enhanced by diacethylene bombs, deafening all other nuances (if they are there at all). Sour aftertaste. Out of balance. Filth!

Keg at Library Alehouse, Santa Monica, 16/04/14. Clear light golden with a moderate off white covering that stays for the show. Nose is pine resin, orange pithm bitter grapefruit, citric peel, straw, light spice. Taste comprises mandarin, pine bite, bitter orange, spruce, light spice, straw. Medum bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid IPA.

Bottle thanks to bruce. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla, oak, roast, bourbon, dark chocolate. Thick mouthfeel with sweet vanilla, roast, chocolate, booze. Hides alcohol well, so smooth, wow really enjoyed this.
