Can from Delhaize (Wondelgem). Clear golden, thin, white head. Aroma of wet grain, yeast, bread dough, oxidized apple, cardboard. Taste has sweetish apple, very restrained and immediately covered by grain, yeast, cardboard and a malty profile that is mildly recognisably bready. Malty finish, gently grassy hoppy and somewhat yellow-fruity. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Refreshing, certainly to be preferred over Jupiler.

Bottle from local convenience store in Kingswear. It's now only 7.5%, possibly to do with licencing taxation. Appearance - golden with a white head. Nose - sweet bread, caramel and honey. Taste - sweet caramel and bread again. Palate - medium bodied, fairly sweet with just a hint of dryness on the finish. Overall - not as bad as expected/remembered, but a bit simple. You'd expect a strong beer to be a bit more complex with ester notes. More of a Heller Bock than a Pils.

Have you had a pale lagery thing before? Cool. That's this. Clear golden, crisp with a bit of hop and malt. Decent enough but nothing to report
