Bottle: Poured a clear light yellow color lager with a medium size white head with light retention. Aroma of grainy cereal notes with light sweet undertones is not the most pleasant. Taste is also dominated by grainy cereal notes with some light sweet notes. Body is light with medium carbonation. No apparent adjunct but malt bill is less than stellar.

This bock poured a nice amber colour with big head of off white foamy. Scents include ripe fruit, malt, and bread. First sip was smooth with medium/ light carbonation and is a little watery. Flavours of ripe fruit and malt most prodominant. Finish is slightly hoppy with a light bitter end.

Single bottle from the LCBO, bottled on May 13th 2014. Pours a golden colour with a small bubbly white head, average retention and some patchy lace. Trying to think what the smell remind me of. Grainy, but with a tuna sandwich aroma, which is quite different. Not as bad in the taste, but because everything is milder. Maybe this beer is too new, too fresh and should sit there a bit. Not sure what this one should be, but not liking it much.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown, with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, with floral and citrusy notes. Vinous flavour with notes of fruit and yeast and touches of malt. Mild aftertaste. More like a mild version of Sour Brown. OK.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity and toasted malty. Bitter, toasted malt and citric. Tart and off. Citric and dry finish.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a deep orange brown with a small off white head that fades slowly. Nose is primarily malt with some light toffee and yeast. Light sweetness with a bit of fruit and honey. Medium slick body with soft carbonation. Not much stands out.

Cloudy chestnut with a little bit of head. Both molasses and vague spice (cinnamon?) are present in the aroma. Rich, full-bodied and with lots of spice, but also yeasty. The malts are muddled and while the rich fruitiness is appreciated the roast is harsh like burnt espresso and the alcohol not strong enough to take the edge off the sweetness.

Hazy fiery orange-amber with a thick head...looks pretty good. Kind of a yeasty doughy aroma with cheesy, slightly woody cascades. Taste is a bit cleaner and fresher, maybe some good pale malts and a dash of crystal, but overall a bit of a retread beer that would need flawless execution and handling (as in, not LCBO) to succeed.
