Description
Sig Brewing Company is a small family-owned brewpub located in Tacoma’s Historic Brewing District. Our goal was to differentiate ourselves in as many ways as possible including our beers, food, and taproom. We were fortunate enough to hire a talented head brewer in Jeff Stokes and opened our doors in the spring of 2020. We love craft beer and are very proud to be a part of its local community.

Hazy and sort of orangey colour. Bright grapefruit, peachy sort of hop aroma with a bit of biscuity malt. This has a decent alcohol and biscuity malt. The hops aren't as bright on the palate as they are on the aroma, but they're not bad.

473mL can, pours a fairly clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, chewy caramel malt, light pine, and bready malt. Flavour has lots of candied stone fruits, resinous hops, bitter pine, orange peel, and big caramel malt. Good balance between big caramel malt and candied hops. Very good.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear-ish amber gold with small white head. Candied orange and light pine hops, slightly sticky caramel malt, okay.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Pine, citrus, ripe tropical fruits, and a touch of berries on the nose. Flavour has tons of ripe tropical fruit, some citrus, and plenty of bitter resins. Malts are reasonably sweet for the style and don't overpower the hops. Very nice IPA.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a quite transient tan head. Aroma is dark roast malt. Med body or more. Carbonation hung around to do that. Reasonably dry. Somewhat bitter. Old school. Which is a good school.

Aromas are work a day stout - dark malt, roast, toffee. Flavors are similar to nose. Bittersweet with regular old stout qualities. Very drinkable but nothing special.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient dark smear. The amburana wood dominates the aroma. Arguably full bodied. Malty and not dry, but far from sticky. Bitterness balance from the wood I think. The flavor is primarily the amburana wood, but there's some coffee in support. Rather pleasing flavor.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma is malty/spicy/grassy. Near med body. Drier than expected. Moderately bitter. Flavor matches aroma. Nice.
