23/10/2024. Can from FamilyMart, Otemachi. Pours clear golden with a frothy creamy white head. Aroma is grainy, malts, musty citrus, cardboard, corn, stale edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, a little metallic. Light bodied, oily watery, average carbonation. Cheap and a bit nasty.

Tap. Brewed at the Kyoto brewpub. Pale gold, hazy. Nose is lemony, bready malt, spicy saison yeast. To that is added a light herbal bitterness coming from the tea. Is is very subtle, but certainly noticeable and adds to the overall effect. Decent.

0.33l bottle from CroCraft & more, Split, shared with hrabren. White bread crust in the minerally aroma, bit meaty and yeasty, traces of floral hops. Empty, lean, light, cheap white bread taste, maybe with a dab of meat paté and that's it. No hops, lightly tart and minerally, vaguely astringent. No reason to import this, no reason to drink this with so many better local options. Weihenstephaner's worst ?beer? ever potentially. I wouldn't finish a 0.33l bottle myself.
