Pours black color with light brown head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee and toffee. Flavors of roasted malts, sweet milk chocolate, toffee, and molasses. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Bottle from random supermarket in St John’s, Antigua. Black with a tan head. Nose of sweet charred malts. Similarly sweet flavour with a hint of metal. No world beater but just about bearable chugged down in the sun with a little wadadli bless.

Bottle at Zeke’s when I asked if i could pour it into a glass they tried to hand me a plastic cup when i said can i have glass they said only if i stay sitting at bar and then stared at me skeptically. pours black with thin head. tastes of coffee, chocolate, ash, vanilla, dark berries, and brown sugar. its rich and creamy. good stuff from the caribbean

Pale golden with a brief white head. Sourish and cereal aroma. Flavour with rubber and cigarette-ashes. Low, or no, bitterness.

bottle, thank you jaghana! Clear golden yellow with some small floaties, mid-sized white head. Sweet and slightly grainy, hints of sweetcorn. Very shy hoppy finish.

Smells of bitter coffee, though the aroma isn’t super prominent. Pours with a mocha head that has some staying power, a little lacing. Aftertaste is when this starts to go bad - too much sugary sweetness. The high alcohol goes bad with so much sugar. Bottle.

Oh dear, Oh dear. I wanted to try every beer I saw on my holiday in Tobago, this was just about the worst (Miller beers are also available on the island and they are really crap). 275ml Brown Bottle, poured into a half-pint tumbler on my hotel balcony. Very, very pale gold, a quickly disappearing white head sat on top for a few seconds before it turned into a thin collar around the glass. Normal aroma score of 3 for my non-aroma lagers. Tasteless, really tasteless. Dry, watery and nasty. A metalic twang arrived in the mouthfeel, this is not a good beer.

Yet another beer reviewed while on holiday in Tobago (June 2008). 275ml Bottle (like all the other bottles from this brewery). Poured into a half-pint tumbler on the balcony of the hotel. Golden, pale yellow colour with a white head that soon left leaving a weak white collar around the glass. Fairly malty in both the aroma and taste, not bad for a Carib product (I am becoming an expert on their beers, bloody hell, I hope not!). Sharper, cleaner and a bit of body to it. The 5.5% alcohol helped to take it well past the normal Carib Lager in the flavour stakes. All in all not bad, my beer of choice at my hotel (it was free in my All Inclusive Package).
