Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours clear bright copper with a beige head. Aroma is floral and caramel. Med body or better. Flavor is spicy hop, a little herbal, making me think of tea a bit, and some supportive caramel. It finishes towards dry, and it is bitter. Might be a bit much for some of our cousins! Damn tasty ale.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA as Ol’ Republic Resolute Stout. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is light smoky chocolate. Med body or better. Flavor is chocolate, definitely getting smoke - like a smoky chocolaty milk stout? Gets a bit earthy. Nice.

Bomber as "Pub Ale" from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Words on bottle pretty well match words in the above description. ABV matches. Pours dark copper with a creamy beige head. Light floral and roast malt aromas. Med body. Flavor seems to have a touch of chocolate, but also mild roast malt and some floral. Decent drink.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours clear dark copper with a slight beige/tan head. Aroma of light roast malt and grassy/herb. Med body. Flavor is mildly roast malt with a fair amount of grassy/herb/spice hop. Overall it’s relatively non-dry, but somehow it works. Fairly tasty.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours fizzy copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt. Med body. Rye spice is definitely detectable. Hop is bitter, but hard to identify. Kind of grassy. Makes me think of spicy California Common.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark gold with a white had. Aroma is bready, lightly citrus/spicy. Near med body. Flavor is bready with spice and citrus notes. Very clean and crisp. One of the nicer local lagers.

Tap at 2014 West Coast Beer Fest. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Sells like a Schwarzbier. Med body. Flavor is a bit chocolate. Not too bitter. Not quite dry. Fits the Schwarzbier style.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Light aroma of fruit and caramel. Med minus body. Flavor is a bit bready with something suggesting hemp and a little stone fruit. Sounds strange, but it is really very nice.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Messed up my notes. Med body. Nice flavor. A bit unusual for the style? Got notes: Flavor is earthy in a strange way that seems to be followed by chocolate. Rather dry, has earth/dust aspects in the finish. Quite different for the style.
