Enjoyed on draft at both at The Bachelor Farmer and New Bohemia Wurst + BierHaus in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is copper, brown, dark golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is sweeter caramel malt, cereal grain, and some citrus hops. The taste is malt forward, with the sweet caramel and grain malt. The hops are present, brightening up the flavor towards the end adding a nice resin element. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level and a sweet, softly bitter resin finish. Clean and well made - good take on a malt forward IPA.
