Pine can bought on clearance at Woodman's Appleton. 4/19/20. As others have said, orange. Hazy. Thin pinkish white head. Decent retention. Aroma of tart berry, passionfruit, funk. Taste is much the same with some lemon and a bit of white sugar. Medium bodied, strong lingering tartness. Nice beer.

Taster at Republic. Medium amber. Aroma is resinous, piney. Taste is also pretty hop forward, a nice malty base underneath. Pine, juniper. Sharp, biting. Sticky.

On tap at Pryes, pours a murky dark amber brown with a small beige head. Nose is loaded with brandy barrels, alcohol and caramel malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark dried fruits, brandy barrels, and some alcohol. Boozy and sweet, but it works well.

On tap at Pryes, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is loaded with heavy bourbon barrel notes upfront, followed by vanilla and light roast. Flavour is absolutely decadent and intense, with heaps of bourbon barrel dominating upfront, followed by vanilla and light roast. The bourbon steals the show, and, while it does increase the ABV, it smoothens out some of the roughness in the base beer. Excellent.

On tap at Pryes, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out intense roasted malt, some chalk, a little cocoa and booze. Flavour is intense, with heaps of roasted malt, alcohol, chalk, and burnt coffee. The roast is absolutely intense, packing more than in a 24-pack of your average beer. It's a bit chaotic and harsh, but is drinkable in tiny amounts.
