500ml can. Pours clear brown with a tall white head. Aroma is heavily artificial rum, Coca Cola and lime. Taste is heavy sweet, lime, syrupy rum and coke, lightly alcoholic. It’s a turbo-charged alcopop-style beer. Why should such a thing exist and who is the target audience?!

330ml can. Pours clear dark orange with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, honey, some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet, malt, bread, alcohol. Drinkable, which is a compliment for these Sri Lankan extra strong beers.

Perfectly acceptable and highly drinkable pale lager. Some sweetness, but also a bit if bitterness. Soft and easy, but nothing much to distinguish it from others. Not sure where the lions are on Sri Lanka, but it's a good country tick.

Thuis uit een flesje. Mooi zwart bier, redelijke schuimkraag, bruin. Kruidig aroma, smaak zeker niet zoet, proeft wel het hoge abv. Goede stevige stout.

slightly opalescent golden colour, large, dense and quite stable head; aroma and taste of a grainy-malty strong lager with some dried apricot and herbal notes; well, malt liquours are generally undrinkable - this one is at least easily drinkable

Have always seen this on the shelf over here in various places, but the good reports encouraged me to actually buy it. Black colour, small golden head. Aroma is thick with dark fruit, roasty malt, a touch of something savoury, maybe even a little beefy, oats too. Quite nice. Taste is oats, roast again, no hint of the 8.8%. Some chocolate and a touch of bitterness and smoke. Something savoury again. Pretty nice though. Nice and easy drinking.
