Boca 0,62L - kupljena u lokalnoj trgovini u Požegi - odličan stout, predobar mirisom, možda da je malo manje alkohola u okusu...

Bottle at Veliki Tolk, Zagreb. Black almost no head. Strong coffee aroma and taste, roasted, burnt coffee, malty, sugar, sweet like hell, bit watery and thin. Light to medium bodied. Can't remember a beer with such a nice aroma tasting that bad. Sweet to the point of being barely drinkable. Wow.

10 August 2018. Bottle from Bierothek, Bamberg. Living room tasting in Floating House, Bosanska Krupa. Cheers to Anke!
Pours cloudy black with a lasting, small, foamy, beige head; little lacing. Inviting aroma of molasses, toast, raisin, mocha, roasted peanut, milk chocolate, kahlua, faint varnish. It tastes medium malty sweet, chocolatey, some cream & sourish raisin accent, and light roasted bitter, notes of toast & mocha. Dryish, toasty finish, faint herbal hops, lingering caramel & warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, slick/oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Could have been more assertively bitter, but it's a pleasant one either way.

Bottle from Wittich. Pours dark brown with an beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee beans, little raisin. Body is heavy, quite sweet with lots of roasted malt notes, coffee and chocolate again, both sweet and bitter, yet neither is overwhelming. Decent carbonation, yet never taking the stage completely. Sweetish palate with lingering coffee flavours, yet easy enough to drink. Good!

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Mlađo. Murky dark brown, minimal head. Aroma is not bad, coffee is here, caramel a bit overwhelming, brown sugar, coffee cake, not very sophisticated, a bit fake, like a coffee-chocolate candy, sugary. Flavour is very sweet. Like someone put three spoons of sugar in an espresso shot. Some plastic phenols strike. Not very smooth, light body, very sugary finish, hard to drink. They put some coffee-molasses mixture in it or something. All in all quite fake, badly executed, misses the style by stretching so much to the sweet side. Doesn't seem natural, it's strange and sloppy.

330 ml bottle into pint glass, 1710061248 bottle code. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 1 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of vanilla, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of vanilla, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of nutty coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, toasted dark/brown bread, vanilla, light dark fruit/herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a solid roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice English coffee stout. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of fruity/nutty coffee and nicely rich malt complexity; with mild earthy hops against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
