Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sugary, honey, orange peel, pretty oxidized. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, sugary, alcohol, some citric acidity, honey, oxidized. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, grains, malt, pretty bitter, hint of almonds, very unpleasant. Pretty sure it's not just age... :p

Bottle, shared with Button, under a tree at Ripon races, 18th May. Nearly black. Lots of carbonation gives a big, bubbly, tan head. Smoky. Sweet, black coffee. Roast malt. Taste and palate are chewy and sweet, with the roast malt dryness and bitterness coming at the end. Overly carbonated, though.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of malt and citrus. Sweet, malty flavour, with estery and hoppy notes. Sweetish aftertaste. Well... not my favourite.

Przecietne piwo. Lekko zamglone. dziwne w strong lagerze metnosc, nawet delikatna do tego w piwie egzotycznym. Tak wiec wyglad najciekawszy w tym wszystkim. Za duzo slodowosci taka nawet ulepkowa byla. Jakies konserwanty dodano, bo nieprzyjemna zgaga mnie zlapala po tym piwie. Chmielnosci wogole nie bylo, alkoholu przynajmniej sie nie wyczuwalo ale ogolne mierne mialem wrazenia po tym piwie

330ml bottle, 7.5% from B&M Bargains Stockton. Dark brown-black in colour, foamy tan head leaving some lacing and aroma of malt, treacle, chocolate. Taste is sweet malty with dark fruits, chocolate and cocoa plus alittle roasted bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, lingering cocoa in the finish. Quite drinkable.

Can off the coast of Mexico on 21st March 2014 (on MS Balmoral, a Fred Olsen cruise liner). One of many strange cans available at a ’beer festival’ on board the ship. Typical lager/pilsner: golden, clear and clean looking. Bright body with a white fading crown on top. Usual almost odourless lager aroma, some grains and hops maybe but it still gets a low score for the smell. Taste wise it didn’t do much, more malts than hops, refreshing but bordering on tasteless, certainly bland and lacking in flavour in my eyes.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelgoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig süß, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack süß malzig, getreidig, leicht alkoholisch.

625ml bottle from beers of Europe. Clear golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy, some sweet corn malts. Flavour is the same.
