This was released in 2026. Not sure what the vintage of the base was. But I will say this. I have never heard of Frey Ranch whiskey (they're Nevadan), but I was really digging this barrel character and I hope to see a few more Frey Ranch BA stouts.
Dark brown. Rich, sweet, really nice umami. This is solid. It’s lightish body for the strength but has some quality flavours.

2026. Very dark brown. Thick head. Fairly sweet, some smokey nose, soy sauce umami, and a balanced finish with a hint of alcohol.

Slight haze, medium amber. Chewy crystal malt, but also the bourbon rounds this out quite well. Good base, quality treatment.

Slightly dullish pale. Thick head. Some alcohol, but clean, nice hop/malt balance. Surprisingly balanced for a TIPA.

12oz can is a murky gold. Nose is grainy and yeasty. Sweet, chewy grains. Very floral. Not sure its traditional but its good. Off dry.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Clear dark brown beer, decent bubbly tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fairly light bodied dark malts, all things considered. Touches of chocolate and earthy coffee. Loadsa Bourbon soaked fruits, just a mild alcohol nip. Light finish. Goes down dangerously easy for 13.5% brew
