Bottled at Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden, firm head. Light spicy nose with some mashed apples. Fairly light bodied with soft mouthfeel. Vanillaish malt followed by mild spicy hop bitterness. Well drinkable.

Cask @ the Haymarket Bar, Edinburgh. Pours opaque black with a decent head. The nose is a bit elusive but eventually some chocolate biscuit notes come through as the head retreats. The taste is nutty chocolate with a caramel biscuit finish. The palate is medium bodied and textured with a nice clean finish. Overall, a good beer!

Cask @ Drum & Monkey. Dark amber colour, off-white head. Nose is malty, sour and fruity. Flavour is malty, sour fruits, with a slight toastiness.

Cask, handpump at The Crown, Cornmarket, Oxford whilst stewarding for a Morris/Longsword rapper event 04.12.11 Pours chestnut with good clarity and a fimly head atop. Pretty decent with a good furry bitterness. The back of the pumpclip which incidentally is very similar to the image displayed here apart from no mention of North Peak or Michigan and its black, says brewed by Mike Hall. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Fra cask på Windsor Castle, Kensington 19 Mai 11. Mørk gylden. OK kremaktig skum. Svakt syrlig aroma. Smaken er syrlig frukt som toner ut i en syrlig fruktig bitterhet.

Cask. Amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is nutty, wooden, mildly resiny as well as some toffeeish and sweet malty notes. Flavour is rather similar in a very easy to drink way. Yet quite bodied, for being only 4 %.

Cask @ Haymarket Bar. Wonder how this got across the pond. Dark ruby red colour, brown colour, beige head. Nose is roasted malts, coffee and citrus. Flavour of roasted malts, citrus, light sour. Roasty finish. Pleasant.
