Cask at Tapped. As great Yorkshire classic. Leeds jaunt. Pours clear amber with a short-lived head. Aromas of light red fruit, toffee. Taste is sweet, sweety finish.

330ml bottle at home. Pours clear red brown with a thin cream-coloured head. Aromas of biscuit, toffee, faint herbs. Taste is more of the same. Light herbal finish.

Bottle from Trembling Madness. Appearance - deep amber to red with a nice lacy head. Nose - toffee and musty biscuits. Taste - toffee, nuts and light biscuit. Praline in fact. Palate - close to medium bodied with a rich but tangy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - wasn’t excited by the nose but it got better.

Bottle from that shop in Malton. As Baytown Bitter. Appearance - amber with a decent head and a very slight haze. Nose - biscuit and toffee. Taste - toffee and oatmeal biscuits. General hobnob thing going on. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchytexture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - a very drinkable bitter.

Bottle. Golden with a thin bubbly head. The honey is lightish but dominant in its taste and gives its texture a smoothness. It has an interesting nose as chocolate and mint are potent.
