Together, the brothers founded in 1898 a brewery called Brasserie Hermans Frères. The brewery was nicknamed St.-Anna, in reference to the St.-Annendael cloister that was located across the street. Joseph was in charge of brewing the beer and John was in charge of distribution. He went around cafes bringing the beer to the customers.
Almost a century later, Joey and Marc Hermans are bringing Tipsy beer back to life!
They work with guest brewery BeerSelect who ensures that the beer is brewed with quality.

Can from Beer52. It pours clear pans golden - yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is perfumed, apricot, peach, orange marmalade, pear, grassy, herbal and floral. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, decent bitterness, grassy, herbal, cracker, twist of citrus, lemon verbena and some peppery spice with a dry finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Crisp and quenching.

Light golden with a very slight haze, fluffy white head
A - slightly yeasty aroma, with a bit of floral hop character
F - bready with nice hoppy overtones
For me the hops lift this to be a much more appealing drink than the average lager.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Clear yellow golden color with a huge sized bubbly white head. Aroma is wheat, malts, floral, citrusy. Flavor is similar, plus a firm bitterness in the finish. Not bad.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a loose white head; yeasty aroma with a hint of clove; smooth and sweet in the mouth with a grainy texture; and some warmth and spice to finish. A tasty and satisfying Belgian blonde.

330ml can. Pours a mostly clear gold with nicely formed white head, good retention. Aroma is typically line a Belgium blonde but has a nice balance to it - floral, spicy, bubble-gum, citrus. Taste is quite rich; starts sweet and floral with some bubble-gum and ends bitter and almost medicinal. Lacks a bit of finesse.
