Cask at the princess alice. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Lots of pine and citrus on the aroma. Good bitter taste, caramel and pine finish. Decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of Hedgerow fruits, with a touch of citrus hop. Flavour had sweetish, digestive, malts, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

On cask at Eaten By Monsters. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - light apples and pale malt. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - balanced and sessionable if a little unexciting.

On cask @ the Standing Order. Appearance - golden with a frothy head. Nose - lemon and some light lager notes. Green beans or sweetcorn. Taste - lemon, light caramel, maybe something green vegetable. Palate - it’s refreshing, the body is light to medium. Overall - a decent example of the style.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys Gracechurch Street. Clear gold lasting white head. average golden ale some drying citrus hops. Some pale malt. Bit cold bit watery. It’s fine if average.

Third of a cask pint in my local Wetherspoons on 17th March 2016. Slight misty pour (barrel only just put on at the bar, maybe too early) to the golden body, white lasting head. Mild citrus notes within a floral and fruity aroma and taste. Light bitter finish.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Golden-amber with a thin white head. Orangey taste with floral notes and a mildly dry finish. Pleasant enough.
