Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Ruby with thin beige head. Matly fruity aroma. Good dry malt in mouth, like malty bran flakes for breakfast. Decent condition. No great hop, but this is all about the malt. Good.

Cask at The Oak, Derbyshire (in a village near my dads he lives in Kilburn) This beer poured light golden in colour and was a corker of an ale, bitter beyond belief, really zappy, citrusy and refreshing and quite, quite lovely.

Cask at the Babbington Arms, JDW, Derby 08-09-07 Black in colour with a a ruby hue, a small tan head that soon dissappeared . Good roasty taste, smooth, with a slightly sour edge interesting and quite challenging but one that I grew to like as it slipped down.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Clear golden. Phenolic and plastic. Medium sweet with strange, slick mouthfeel. Chemical finish sets in early, featuring burnt plastic. A quite unpleasant experience Iโ€™m afraid.
