Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#61. ST MALO. Evening drink in the centre. Brown coloured sweetish stout with a noticeable carbonation providing a gassiness. There is a little bit of 'roasted' to be found in both aroma and taste. Has an easy enough strength.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#49. ST MALO. Second evening beer inside the citadel. Golden with a creamy head. It's quite a smooth tasting, fruity aroma brew, with its strength providing a good body here. It's a little more regular in taste, but still decent in this respect.

Old rating from 29-10-16 - A bottle I had at home a few years ago, but tried once again in Vannes. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is of spice, coriander seeds and wheat. Taste is on the crisp side, with flavours of yeast, coriander, citrus and some spice present. Aftertaste has a slight yeasty bitter finish.

It is a regular beer, I like this taste between a hefeweizen and a witbier, particulary refreshing, 05.08.2016, buying it at the grain d'Orges, Crissier, out of business, drinking it at Prélaz, Lausanne.
