Bottle. Hazy amber pour with a thin, off-white head. Somewhat faint aroma of citrus, caramel, grass and lemon. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderate bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Lots of potential in this beer, but it’s too thin and watery to deliver as much flavor as an American Pale Ale usually delivers. It does get points for being an OK session beer at 4%.

Draft. Deep brown body with tan/brown head. The aroma is roasty with notes of coffee and chocolate. Some hint of sweet milk. The flavor was moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finished lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Flavorful oatmeal stout that’s easy to drink. Nicely crafted for a relatively low-alcohol beer.

Bottle. Deep amber body. White, fizzy, lasting head. Aroma of cirtrus and flowers, though mainly citrus, with some toasted malts and caramel in the background. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and slightly more than moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture that turns velvety in the finish and lively carbonation. A nicely balanced, though not overly complex, double IPA. Easy to drink.

Bottle shared by tytoanderso originally from footbalm, thanks everyone. 2008 750mL cork&cage. Pours a very hazy, lightly still looking, slick yellow color with a halo lacing. Aroma is very similar to Cuvee de Castleton. Its lemon-y bretty cobwebs, funky, some light grapefruit juice as well. There is a light cereal graininess behind all that to round it off. Tasting the beer starts off with a spritz-y, tingling mouthfeel. This actually gets in the way a bit because the flavor is very delicate. Taste has light lemon bursts within a delicate Belgian ale that’s lightly floral. Flavor is nice but does not have live up to the aroma. Really nice brew from Utah, that’s right UTAH! 9/4/7/3/17

Well this beer got even better. 2008 shared by Matt, loving the beer again. The flavor is much more tart and drying in the flavor, much better than the previous bottle. Herbal brett with brett-tartness just loved it. 9/49/9/4/17. I will make this the current rating.

Bottle at the Freakin’ Frog, Las Vegas
Amber color. Moderate hoppy aroma. It’s reasonably hoppy, but the body weakness is too evident; such a beer would benefit from a different hop, fruity for example. Too simple.

750 ml bottle shared with Douglas88 and Footbalm at the brewpub (can’t take it out). Nose of light belgian spices, mildly funky yeastiness, oak, and citrusy hoppiness; cloudy yellow with a big, glass-lacing white head; flavor is lightly tart, lightly sweet, woody oak, and citrus; tickle your tongue carbonationm and a lightly funky finish; great stuff!
