Bottle at le mondiale 2012. Mediummbrown pour, smallmoff white head. Aroma of grass, light brewed coffee, and some very light pale malts. Hmmmm this is undewhelming. Mouthfeel is incredibly thin, normal carbonation. Finish is very light on the roast, and the coffee is 100% gone, and is replaced by a lovely wet cardboard finish. Awful.

Bottle split at DS, thanks to Leighton, 29/09/22. Light black with a tan cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, hint of raspberry, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises mellow roast, spice, cocoa powder, dried red berries, earthy, molasses. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kick of alcohol. It's okay for a rot box clear out.

Bottle. Almost black. Coffee and apple syrup in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with coffee, apple and cinnamon. Too sweet, but decent enough.

Bottle, BBE05 . Pours dark brown, crealy white head. Smell is spiced, bit sweet, somewhat metallic. Taste is sharp, very spiced, dry, harsh, sweet, not much clear signs of age, just overkill spiced, to a point it’s undrinkable. better fresh? Perhaps, but I expect tastes of spices to go down over time, so my fear would be big when drinking this fresh !
