Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear mahogany brown with small consistent off white head. Aroma of toasted malts, bread crusts, caramel, light grassiness. Taste is along the same lines; malty, bread crusts, nuts with herbal bitterness. A good example of the style but doesn't stand out.

0.5L bottle, pours a clear chestnut amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, crunchy herbal notes, and some toasted nuts. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of darker roasted bready malt, herbal notes, toasted nuts, and a higher-than-average carb for an alt. A little less refined than the better alts, but admittedly well-made, clean and drinkable. Good.

Light sweet malty, light bitter, some notes of toast and a bit bready. Not bad, not very good either.
