Clear orange beer, creamy dense irregular yellowish to beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty cheesy, sweaty feet, sweet peaches, candy, some strawberry jam. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: cheesy start, pretty darn bitter, floral, bit malty, some caramel, sweetish touch. Aftertaste: more sweaty feet, pretty bitter, bit metallic, malty, grains, dry finish.

Bottle – pours a dark brown black colour with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruit and vanilla. A moderately sweet taste, roasted malt, chocolate, burnt grain and dark fruit flavours. A moderately lasting bitter finish. Full bodied, flat carbonation and oily texture.

Not the green hop version. Cask at the Foundry. Clear amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Dry malts, not that sweet. A little rye tang if you look for it. Floral bitterness and a touch of marmalade. It's okay.

Canterbury Foundry. Cask. Clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Light malts, some sweetness, trace of honey. Mellow orange hops. Mild hop spice. Dry finish. Not that hoppy but fine.

Somewhere in Canterbury, presumaby cask! Light haze on this reddish amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Light and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Mild floralness. Decent strawberry, some jam and strawberry pips. A mild bitterness on the finish. Amusing.

bottle from the brewpub. Deep black, small off-white head. Vanilla aroma. Full-bodied, lots of chocolate and vanilla, some coffee and shy earthy hopy in the finish. Smooth and velvety carbonation. Delicious.

tap @ the brewpub in Canterbury. Golden yellow wiht a white head. Pleasantly malty with a great fruity-hoppy character. Easy-drinking, refreshing and higghly fragrant and aromatic. Probably the perfect summer beer - enjoyed this one a lot!!

tap @ the brewpub in Canterbury. Red-brown with a beige head. Sourish fruity with berries dominating, some earthy hops with a pleasant resiny character and a yeasty fruity touch.

tap @ the brewpub in Canterbury. Pale straw-coloured with white head. Kölsch yeast but a lager? Nevertheless, quite fruity and pleasant, herbal-fruity hops on a decent malty base. Light-bodied and refreshing. Better than most of the German Kölschs I have tried.
