Description
Going back twenty years, he brothers Stephane and Ludovic Hardouin, both lovers of Belgian beers, live in the Paris region. For 6 years, they traded beers, and developed an address book with restaurateurs, wine merchants and winegrowers. In 2002 they decided to strengthen their activity. No more reselling and making their own beer at home. They got started by setting up their brewery in Céré la Ronde in 2003, near their family.
Today it is a growing business of 4 people. Each year production is increasing (+ 10% / year on average) and the maximum production capacity has not yet been reached.
The beers created by the brewery are 100% pure malt (barley and malted wheat). They are unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented in the bottle. Among the brewery's projects, growing their own hops. Since 2019, it has been home to the first hop plants. The idea is to supplement the hop purchases and why not, to make a beer from this house culture.

330 ml bottle. Hazy yellow body with a big, foamy white head. Decent aroma of spices like coriander, fruity banana and yeast. Flavor has light malt, coriander and other spices, white sugar and feels a bit perfumed. Medium to thin body with a moderate aftertaste. Kind of decent but not very exiting.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy orange colour with a huge and soapy, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, hay, pale malt and spices with a touch of cinnamon. The flavour is also fruity but with a more malty touch and some hops, and feels slightly sour in the end. Slick mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. Interesting aroma but a bit dull flavour.

Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is wet grain, old potato cellar, herbs, light malts, hints of citrus. Taste is watery, wet hay, yeast, herbs, wet grain, cardboard, almond essence, hints of citrus. Little bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Very boring.

Biggish offwhite head. Hazy opaque deep yellow body with carbonation. Papery mealy aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweetish peachy mealy taste with faint traces of vinegar, and perhaps a light tinge of acidity. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy peachy aftertaste with herbal notes. It’s not bad, but it’s very low on flavour. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, web order.)
